New York City Sues Nine Disposable Vape Distributors, Seeks to Ban Sales and Recover Damages

On April 7, the official website of the New York City government announced that the administration of New York City Mayor Eric Adams had filed a federal lawsuit against nine of the nation's largest distributors of flavored disposable e-cigarettes, alleging that they unlawfully marketed e-cigarettes in attractive flavors to youths in violation of numerous federal, New York State, and New York City laws. The lawsuit asks the court to enjoin the companies, known as “master distributors,” from continuing to sell their products in New York City and seeks economic and punitive damages.

SV3, LLC d/b/a Mi-One Brands (Arizona)
